What StyleCast is

A studio that shows you your options on you: the same picture of you, wearing each piece, so you can decide. It is in closed beta, which means it is unfinished, it changes often, and you are here because we invited you to try it and tell us what is wrong.

Your account

One account per person, for the website and the studio. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it and we will end every session on it. You must be eighteen or older.

Credits

• Every picture, clip, set of views and check has a price in credits, shown on the button before you press it. Nothing is charged without that press.
• Credits come with a plan or a top-up, or as a gift from us. They are not money, they cannot be withdrawn, and they are not refunded for a change of mind.
• If we refuse a picture because it did not keep you true, or the engine fails, the credits come back to you on their own, and the picture is not shown.
• The price list is one list, published on the pricing page and enforced by the server. If the website, the studio and the assistant ever disagree about a price, the server's price is the one that applies, and we would like to hear about it.

Your photos and your pictures

• Photos you put up stay yours. You give us permission to use them for the one thing you asked: to make and check your pictures.
• Only put up photos of yourself, or of a person who has agreed to be pictured here. No photos of children. No photos of other people taken without their knowledge.
• The pictures and clips we make for you are yours to keep, share and use, including commercially, with one limit: do not present a made picture as an unaltered photograph where that would deceive someone, and do not use one as an identity document.
• A document photo is only ever checked against published rules. We do not make, alter or improve document photos, because the offices that issue passports and visas refuse them.

What we cannot promise

The engines are good and they are not perfect. A picture may be refused, may need a second try, or may not be to your taste. We check every picture against your own photo and say plainly what was checked; we do not promise that a garment will fit you the way it fits the picture, and a picture is not a size guide.

Behaviour

Do not use the studio to harass, impersonate or deceive anyone, to make pictures that sexualise a person without their consent, or to make anything unlawful. We may pause an account that does, and we tell you why.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the credits you paid for and did not use. We are not responsible for what you do with a picture after you download it.

Ending

You may erase your account at any time from Your account. We may end the beta, or your part in it, with notice in your inbox.

Changes and the law that applies

When these terms change, the version at the top changes and a notice goes up on the site and in the studio before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada. Questions: [email protected].
